Experts say about this process that could free the United States of its dependence on petroleum diesel fuel.This process started with Augsburg College Senior Brian Krohn who found out there is a new way to produce the much needed fuel.
Brian,his Augsburg professors and scientists from Anoka-based SarTec Corporation have develop a process that scientists say has the potential to revolutionize the fuel industry.
This research it's called Mcgyan Process, puts alcohol and a variety of waste oils through a high-temperature, high pressure reactor. Inside, the oils from things like coconuts ,soybeans, even algae react with a catalyst, creating 100-percent renewable biodiesel fuel.

This process it's really fast clean and efficient,can produce biodiesel in under six seconds.The Mcgyan process is being used to heat the building and run the company's trucks.
